Naomie Droll, is the Interim Executive Director of Scholars Equity Network and a 2012 Gates Millennium Scholar. She joined the SEN Board in March 2024 and stepped into the part-time executive role in November 2025.

A citizen of the Navajo Nation based in Washington, D.C., Naomie is an attorney specializing in federal Indian law and policy and the founder of Capitol Nations Law & Policy, a D.C.-based firm serving tribal governments on matters of governance, economic development, and policy advocacy. Before her time in Washington, D.C., she served as a staff attorney for the Navajo Nation Department of Justice, specializing in economic and community development.

Naomie earned her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law. Her legal experiences include clerking for the American Indian Law Center, the Department of the Interior, and the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Rollins College.

Through SEN, Naomie is committed to empowering future leaders and creating opportunities for the next generation of scholars, helping them to give back to their communities, just as she and her fellow scholars have.
